Photo Gallery Help - Treo Forums

There is a new Photo Gallery feature available here at Everything Treo. As a registered member of the forums you can:

Upload your photos
Create photo albums
Rate photos
Comment on other photos
Share your photos in related categories
Post your photo and win a Treo 650 & Trip Kit (contest ends January 15th, 2006)

This is a new feature of the site and I anticipate questions. If you have troubles with the new feature or just a question, please post it here.

You'll have to talk to the "FileMaker Pro" gods....
Entries get put into a Filemaker db which picks it randomly.

Good luck...get that photo posted. You odds will probably be better this time...

Send me a PM with username and photo. You should have control of your photos, but honestly I have to check the software configurations available.

Okay, I do have it set so that you can Edit Your Photos. I'm guessing when you edit, you have the option to delete. I have to research further, but I think you can.

I went to edit, couldn't find any deletion...

Just trying to possibly erase the first picture and find a better one.

'D still like to win a new treo though.

That's cool. I'll delete that one and you can just upload another one to enter.

I'm also going to look into how I can configure to allow you to delete your own photos. Editing only allows rotating and adjusting comments.

It was indeed a setting in my Admin configuration. I've updated the Photo Gallery to allow individual users to:

Edit their photos
Delete their own photos
Move photos to other categories (altough I will still moderate to make sure we're sticking to the current grouping)

Thanks for the heads up. This is how it should be set up.
