Print Documents Treo 650 and Canon ip90

I think I have more money than brains cause I read this article about how bichin a Canon ip90 was and that you could print from a treo 650.

Great, I bought the ip90 and bluetooth adaptor and battery, I set it up and i can only print contacts, memos, notes (which by the way i cant cause i use Act add in to manage all this) and photos. Great I can only print photos...

I look up Instep Print which allows me to print documents Yay! I buy it and it does not support bluetooth or my printer.

I AM BUMMED OUT!

Does anyone know of a program that will support this printer? Must I lug my laptop around everywhere?

Keith, I remember reading a review on a competitive site. Here's a snippet confirming what you've found out..
The Canon i80 printer works with your Treo smartphone out of the box; no extra software is needed. The Canon i80 can print the following items from
your smartphone:
a.. Photos
b.. Schedule
c.. Business cards
d.. Tasks
e.. Memos

If it's any consulation, they rated they gave the product their highest rating.

I did a little research and perhaps PrintBoy would help?

I downloaded print-boy which will support bluetooth on the Canon IP90 and gave it a try. I was able to print excel and powerpoint and some other misc formats but there seems to be a bug on word files (which is what i need to print) but I will probably be able to work with their tech support to resolve. Once that happens, I can turf my laptop. Yay!!
