Ring for text messages from specific contact

I'm pretty old...I guess.

I can remember back in the day... so many, many years ago... like in the 1990's and years before then... when it was considered rude and obnoxious to call somebody when you know they are at work unless it is an emergency.

Now the rules are changed. If your wife has the cell phone number provided to you by work, then it is actually YOU who is RUDE if you are working and do not drop everything to read a message or talk about something that has nothing to do with your current tasks on the job.

"I am still where I told you I was last time you called and that is still the same place I told you I was going before I left. I'll leave here when I get the job done."

She thinks she can send me messages and call me every time a thought about me enters her stream of consciousness, but this is over polluting the real calls that are important. I can get at least 5 calls and texts in between the real calls and this is severely disrupting to me because I am now ignoring the important stuff because I think it is only my wife again.

I don't want to be rude to her by daring to suggest she cool it. I changed the call rings so I know not to answer or even look when it is her, but the text messages can't be changed to identify her by a specific ring tone and those make me drop everything every time.

My work cell is not her Twitter! Do I have to tell her like it is or can I set the rings from her messages to sound different from a real text message?
