Swapping Moto Q for 700wx or 755 - Treo Forums

I am canceling my just signed contract with Sprint and going with the SERO plan. I have the Moto Q and do enjoy it. It does what I need it to do. I am wanting to go ahead and try my options while there is time so I was looking at these Treo's. Has anyone here owned a Moto Q then either one? I am wanting to access excel and edit them. Also internet browsing is a must. I am curious what other benefits these phones have over the Q. Thanks

This is a tough choice. My Black Q has proven to be a great device - very stable easy to use and in reality it does everything that I need and has great phone reception! I do consider myself a power user. I have Docs to Go (which can edit MS Word, Excel etc.) Agenda One, Smartphone notes, Qtask, and the list goes on. (e-mail accounts etc.)
No problems!
The 700p which supposedly has stabilty problems has been awesome as well.
I had the 700p first as personal, then I switched my buisness from Nextel over to Verizon and picked up the Q.
To be quite honest I continue to switch back and forth trying to figure out which I like the best.
The palm has more abilities and 3rd party programs.
755 is virtually the same as the 700p other than the form factor. And that it has really no know issues.
Yet the decision in my opinion is more to be based on if phone reception/quality is more important or is the pda more vital
Phone stay with the Q-possibly more durable.

But I do not believe you can go wrong.

I hac a Q, switched to the Treo 700p for the reasons that you have already stated. I had problems with the Treo so I switched to a KRZR (returned the Q), had some issues with it and went back to the Treo. I am again having issues with the Treo. I wish I had kept the Q!!!!

idk i had the q first and wow those are poorly made. I went through about 2 in a weeks time and opted for the 755p. I say go with the 755p because its the latest 1, it looks the best and most of the bugs from the earlier models are out of this one. And what exactly is sero?

Yeah, I went through 3 Q's and must have just got burned cause they all sucked. all three had problems, would freeze up, would have to soft reset w/ battery removal, would not unlock keyboard, let alone the horrible battery life. so i called Verizon and they sent me a 700WX for free as a replacement and its 10000% better. just my .02.

I was use to WM on my Axim so when I went to the Q, the first thing I missed was the touch screen. The second thing I had a problem with was the size. I have large hands and the Q would slip out of my hands and hit the floor. I went to the 700wx to stay with WM and so far I am pleased. Good luck on your decision.

I had a treo 650 with Cingular, and when I came to Sprint, I went with a Q.... I'm waiting for my Treo to come now because with the reliablity and the fact that the Q just isn't really a smart phone, I am coming back...So take that with a grain of salt, however I'd run not walk away from the Q.
