Switch from Blackberry to Treo

I am trying to install the palm desktop on my computer and it kept trying to hotsync with the previous user. So I did a hard reset, will that take care of the problem.

I need to update the software per treo's website. When I try I get an error message saying there is not enough memory. This is after I have done the hard reset and there is nothing more than what came from the factory.

There is no favorite's tab to allow me to add someone as a speed dial number?

Mildly frustrated but loving the phone so far. Just need to figure out how to get everything linked up then set up with Chattermail.

Yes. It will ask if you want to HotSync to the previous user and will allow you to create a new user.

Press the Green Phone Button, then press down on the 5 way navigation. Select a button and press the MENU button (above Email button). From there you can Edit Speed Dial.

Chris your the man. I looked for that favorite setting forever. I am going to go through the entire update process tomorrow morning at work.

I Currently Have A Blackberry (cingular) And A Treo 650 That Was Given To Me As A Present, What Are The Steps I Should Take To Migrate From Blackberry To Treo Considering That The Main Use Of My Blackberry Is The Ability To Read Mails On The Go Without Having To Go And Download Them? I Download From 4 Different Email Accounts.

I am in the process of changing from a BB to a Treo 650 w/ Verizon. Everything is working fine except I am having a tough time finding an acceptable e-mail service. I am trying chattermail right now but am running in to problems trying to link it up to my gmail account. Does anyone have a good solution to access my gmail in moderate real time. Even every 5 minutes would be acceptable. Just looking for easy of use.??
