| There are a lot of members here who have been helpful to others. This gives the ones who got some help the opportunity to thank someone who was helpful, in a way that people can get recognized for having been helpful. There was a reputation system in place but it wasn't very visual or easily discovered. The hope is that this is a little easier to use.
