The Best Pocket PC or PDA
I was going to get a treo 700p, but my parents (I'm 15) said that they had a contract with cingular, so they couldn't get the 700p because they couldn't switch companies.
I already have a phone that has nothing special about it; it only cost like forty bucks. I just wanted to upgrade with the 700p.
Anyways, now that I can't get the only smart phone I wanted (700p), I won't get a phone. I do, though, still want a similar device with out a phone.
So my question is: What is the best non-phone pda or pocket pc that has all, slightly less, or more features than the 700p?
The main things that I'm concerned with are: TV on the go capabilities (be it through a TV tuner or streamed through broadband), browsing capabilities with broadband and wifi as a plus, a keyboard, editing word and excel (and PowerPoint if possible), and other features the 700p has. What non-phone device has these?
I don't see how another device couldn't have those features if not more, because they don't have to worry about the phone.
I have done research but found no results.

A Palm TX is really good. And is rated higher than most pocket pcs. Or a Lifedrive witha 4GB HD so you can store a lot of movies and music.
What OS do you want?
Also chekc out palm.com but the pda section on more info.

I don't know, I'm not paying the bills. I'm not sure my dad would be too happy having to pay what is it? Like 20 more a month for the data?

Or you could get 650 and have free internet by wifi. Also if you have a TX/E/E2 you can pair them up to your old phone so everytime you get a call/sms you can recieve them on your pda instead of your cell phone.
On the e/e2 you would have to buy a mic for them.
