The 650 has never been a stable device for many people. The Centro is a better solution all the way around, especially the new ones, as they now have about 120MB of on-board user available memory.
i am looking at getting a blackberry 8700c or a palm treo 650. The treo seems to have more of the apps i want, and has more multimedia capabilities. But, i keep reading about how the treo freezes alot. i had a phone that did that and i do not want another. My qquestion is. has palm fixed this issue? since im buying a new 650 will the OS and firmware resolve this issue?
Thanks alot
Derek

I'm on my second Treo 650. This one doesn't freeze like the first one, but it still rarely will freeze. Overall, I love the phone and I'm planning to be a Palm user for life. :-)
The only freeze problem I had with the 650 and 680 was due to the magnet on the on the cover/flap of the horizontal leather case. Once I got rid of the case, I never had a freeze up at all.
