Treo 700p with Exchange

I'm in the process of purchasing my first smart phone and I had a question with email sync.

I'm looking at purchasing the Treo 700p and when I'm at home I plan on having it sync up with Outlook via Bluetooth or USB.

At home I also have MS Exchange 2003 server. When I'm out on the road I want the Treo to sync up my email, calander, and contacts with the exchange server.

I know that I can open up a port on my firewall for pop3 and allow my treo in that way but that will only sync emails and not calendar or contacts.

Is there anyone here in a simular situation and if so what solution did you come up with.
