Treo Gaming

So after exploring my Treo for a few months, one segment of its abilities that I have pretty much ignored until lately is its ability to play games. So I broke down yesterday and ordered 3 from the ET Software store.

• SuperMiners - So I downloaded the trial, and was getting into it. Purchased and Downloaded the full game, and found out that I can't move it from my Treo. It has to remain on the device and will not reside on the card. That kind of sucks . . . Its a fun little game though with great graphics, decent music, and new things seem to appear on every level.
• Scrabble- If you like the board game, you will love this version for the Palm - nuff said!
• GTS Racing Challenge - Man, I am addicted to this game! I have always loved Racing games ever since Atari's Pole Position. I actually downloaded this game as a trial months ago, and liked it, but it wasn't a priority. So when I went shopping for apps to entertain me, this one was high on my list! Amazing Graphics and cool sound, and plenty of tracks, Cars and levels! I like the fact that I can pick a single race, or go for a multitude of challenges in a Grand Tour or a Championship!

But I am wondering what you are "PLAYING" on your Treo? Got one that you just can't put down. And when its down, you are thinking about it? I might be on the lookout for one or two more really good ones. I was wondering what you might recommend . . .

Right now on my Treo:

• 9.95 Mahjong
• Bejeweled 2
• Backgammon (freeware)
• Crossword Puzzles
• Euchre trial
• The Prison
• Solitaire

I need to contact the developer of Euchre (Seahorse Software). I registered a few of his other games years ago on my Palm IIIx, and I just noticed on his site that his reg codes are lifetime.
I'm really looking for a good RPG that's not too pricey. I used to play Kyle's Quest, and I'm looking for something in that same vein (not really into shooters, or action games for the most part).

Just uninstalled "The Prison" . Great break out game and its cool that the developer includes a tool to let you design your own!!! Another that I just took off is scrolliez (I think I spelled it right) Its a scrolling cave type game. I really like it a lot! Not much into Shootemups either. But I do like my new racing game bunches!!! I guess thats the closest I would come to being an action gamer . . .

I have heard you can get an emulator for SNES games for the treo 650. My question is, where is a good place to download the roms at? Are the roms for the treo only or will any of the snes roms work with the treo emulator?

You might want to read this thread. You can install this, and then download NES games for the Treo. Also, I just saw a thread here for Texas poker holdem as a free download. The ones mentioned above (prison and scrolliez are free games and not trials. And there are many others. Beware that some of these freeware games might not make your Treo stable . . . . . .

Google Freeware Palm and I think it will get you where you need to go . .
