This is for .mid ringtones. If you're looking for a good easy way to make MP3 ringtones, I don't think the Treo 650 is the place to be. The Kyocera 7135 included free software that let you convert any mp3 to a ringtone, or any tone or alert.

The Treo 650 looks like there are 3 choices. One of them is a rip off at $30. I will not even try it. The other 2 require you to load other software to make it run. Talk about a pain in the butt.

Is there any software $20 or less that is easy to install and let you uese mp3's for ringtones. Nothing else. Just for ringtones. That are stand alone, solid, non-crashing, non-reseting.

Anyone??
