Default Using an WMA for the alarm?

I'm just wondering if it's possible to set the alarm to play a WMA file when it goes off. I figured out how to add one, a song, as the ringer but can't figure out how to set it as the alarm. Is it possible or does it have to be converted to a MIDI file?

    Thanks in advance,

what alarm program are you trying to play it in? If it shows up as part of the ringtones, you should be able to select it as an alarm. For example, if I go to World Clock, I have no option to select WHICH alarm I want to play. On the other hand, if I go to Treo Alarm, I can select any tone that shows up in my tones list. If you are using an alarm program that allows you to select the tone, you can. But if its the alarm in the World Clock app, there are no options from that app to select anything other than the default . .

EDIT: My 680 does have some other prefs! From the World Clock app, you can go menu/options/Alarm Preferences, but there are only 6 selections to choose from . .
