    Default VOIP with your Treo

I've been reading a lot about VOIP lately and I even installed my own asterisk server (linux). Using an addon SDIO WiFi adapter for my 700p, is it possible that I can make VOIP calls? When I am home, at work, or near a WiFi hotspot it would help reduce costs by calling over the internet rather than cell towers. I'm not sure if I would have to purchase a VOIP account or if there is a free solution. Has anyone tried this?

I haven't tried it, and directed a 680 owner to this new software, but it was a bust for him, as he couldn't find a compatable .jvm file for the 680.
