Why is cingular getting all the nice phones??

i have verizon.. lately palm has came out with the 700wx for sprint but not verizon yet ( dont even know for sure if verizon will be getting it) than Cingular gets the 680 and the 750 plus the new apple iPhone... when will verizon get a better treo in to play??!

Being a Cingular customer, I can remember not long ago, thinking, man, why can't I get a 700 P or W? Whats up with Cingular????
I have been following the iphone hype closely! There are several things I like about the new iphone! Its probably my next mobile device purchase! But from what I am reading, this first gen iphone won't sync with Outlook, has very questionable battery life, along with the inability to change the battery, and if you watch the keyone demo, he does everything with two hands. We don't know if it will support voice dial/command yet or not, but for just Jobs demo, it doesn't look very automobile friendly . . . . But that is not to say, there are not several things done right on this device! The entertainment factor is certainly wowing! The scroll/pinch feature is pretty slick! It battery life is decent, and I can Sync with outlook like I can with the Treo, I will probably make the switch . .

BTW, in case you haven't noticed, Chris has a similar site to this one! Called Everythingiphone! Lots of gossip and speculation about the coming iphone (or whatever it ends up getting called)

I went to Sprint to get the 700p...my wife is still on Cingular. HOWEVER, Cingular charges you through the WAZOO on their internet stuff! $40 per month is REQUIRED if you're going to sign a two year contract with them to get the deals on the 680, 750 or on the iPhone. So...if you only want 400 minutes and have the unlimited PDA connect...it's gonna run you $80 per month before taxes! I pay $85 per month at Sprint ant I get 900 minutes, unlimited internet, 300 text messages and evenings starting at 7 PM. I like what I've got. (...and I only paid $100 for my 700p.)
