    Default Active Home Screen App

    Hi,

Does anyone have any feedback on this new app? It looks like something I would really find useful, only I am reluctant to download it due to the devloper's disclaimer warning. Does this mess up your system in any way? Delete anything, cause signifcant delays, resets, etc.? Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Just downloaded it and played with it a little and it seems ok., but as all homebrew apps, it's at your own risk. I need to add photo contacts to Quickcall to really give it a test run but I do like it so far.

the public beta was released today and I'm downloading it now. IT says it will expire on 9/19/09 and be removed from the Homebrew apps list on 9/17/09. So does that mean it will not work on our phones as of the 9/19/09?

I think he will be selling it. This is the Demo only. I read some people donated $5 and got a different activation code.

If he is looking for a small donation like $5-10 bucks yeah. I used to have facade on my old Q and loved it. I like the option of having up to 7 quick launch icons plus the other ones you can bring up with a swipe.

C'mon dude! It's not like some annoying NOOB with a million quetsions...:dft012:wink

On the developers home page he claims very low, almost unoticeable impact on Battery Life tested by 300 people already. And yes it's a card that stays open. He is looking for a $5 donation for the full beta version. Once I get home myself I'll donate to play with the full version, but so far me likes...:dft003:cool

One other question, can you delete it if you don't like it or does it stay on permanently? Can you customize the background?
