i've followed the instructions exactly, got up to the last step but when i add the ipk file and click install i get the "connection refused error." have tried switching developer mode on and off, have rebooted computer. need better suggestions please

If you have it in ev mode and still get connection refused than my first guess is that the palm novacom is not installed. go to run and type in services, look for palm novacom and make sure it is running.

I've noticed it can take up to 5 minutes when you first connect your Pre in Dev Mode to your XP machine for the Novacom drivers to install. Are you getting the Popup that says, "Your device is ready for use."? If not, wait until you get the popup message before trying to install.

Awesome!!!! Just did everything to put homebrew apps on and it worked flawlessly! Changed just about everything in the tweaks except for the icon size, found your taps needed to be to exact for me! Got a bunch of apps now some useful, some just fun. Hooray, thanks for talking me into it aldo!

Mine says connecting to device, and it stays there. Cant get it to connect.
