Installing homebrew app

Ive recently got the pre and want to "pimp" it up, for example put a clock on the home pare, install an alarm app onto the phone.
How do i instal homebrew apps onto my phone, do i need to instal a new webOs or is available as an app fom the store?
Where can i get homebrew apps from?
What are the limitations?

Any help will be appreciated
