Please help with google voice
Somebody please help!!!!
I have the homebrew app but When I try to play a message in dkGoogleVoice by clicking on GV then clicking on play, nothing happens. When I try to play my voicemail through the GV website for mobile, I get an error message that says, "There was an error playing the file."
Is it possible to listen to gv message on the pre????
Thanks,
Brian

I don't use dk. Try using gDial pro. I have never had any problems with that app accessing GV.

in gdial pro, all of the functions work (I can read transcripts, etc.) but when I hit play, nothing happens.
Please help!!!

It doesn't play from the web. To access your VM and hear it press the 1 button just like you would on the regular dialer. It dials your GV number logs you in and you can play your messages and you can edit your settings. Hope this helps.

So are you saying that there is no way to play a GV message without calling in? Even from the web?

You can from the web on your pc. But when using the mobile version I think you need to access it via the app. When I hit play from the mobile site nothing happens, but hitting 1 from the GV dialer will access it.

This does not seem right to me. Since messages are MP3 files and the palm pre can play MP3s.
Can somebody else jump in here. Has anybody figured out how to play messages on the Palm pre without calling in.
I am having a problem calling in too. When I call, I get all of the prompts as if the message has played, but the message has not played.
Thanks,
Brian
