    Default Preload app - patches

Hi, in the Preload application, there is a category for a whole bunch of patches. These look like they would be very useful to me, only I can't figure out how to dowload them. Can anyone help?

    Thanks!

all of the patches say 0 downloads for some reason. Do you need something else installed to be able to download?

Are you seeing the patches though?

It should say available patches then the number available not 0 downloads.

I would connect to Quick Install and make sure you have preware 9.2 and the most current package manager service.

ok that must be it. So I have to download preware. I've seen that, but what is the manager service?

The package manager service is what allows you to download the apps, packages and themes. In Quick Install you need to install both, then restart your pre. Now look for the preware app and have at it. You do need to download the autopatch and then restart the phone to load all the available patches. Press the button under the plus and minus on the right hand side. Then filter it to webos-internald feeds all. You should then see the preware and package manager service.
