755 Black or Grey - Treo Forums

I have never forumed before, but I heard that Sprint's 755 will be red or blue. I was assuming it would be black or grey with silver, of course. My current phone is so basic, so old, so falling apart it is taped together with masking tape, the antenna's missing and there are no numbers left on the keys! I've been holding out for either the iphone or most likely a Treo, and am currently waiting for the 755 because there's no exterior antenna (and probably boasts some nice new features). But the NUMBER ONE criteria on my list is color, and I cannot accept anything but greyscale. If anyone can give me hope that it will be available in black or grey I'll wait for it. Otherwise, I can get a great deal on a 700 at Sprint right now (guess I could saw off the antenna). I want an iphone (who doesn't) but have a feeling it's not going to be all that great for spreadsheets, appointments, and business stuff. Any clues there?
I'm a Mac person, so I also need to know if the Treo running Palm is the best way to go, as I've been told. Thanks for your responses.

First off, as a Mac user, Palm OS is the way to go (outside of going with the new iPhone).

With regards to the color of the new Treo 755, I haven't seen a grey version. Also, everything I've heard points to navy blue or maroon. FWIW, the navy will probably look very similar to the Treo 750 which is a very sharp looking phone.

You might want to wait for the release of the Treo 755. If you decide to go with the Treo 700p, you'll most certainly find a better price at that time.

Perhaps I SHOULD wait for the iphone, as long as it runs a good calendar/appointment program and Excel. (Sorry, I cannot accept anything but black or shades of grey.)
Much as I am advised to wait for the 2nd generation of any new product, I did own the very first G4 Titanium laptop, and was proud and happy (until I needed to burn a CD which it couldn't do, but that's okay!). So maybe, just maybe, I'll get the very first iphone. Or, as you suggest, save a bundle on the 700 when the 755 comes out.

There are reports today the Sprint 755 will be blue/grey. I believe these to be incorrect, but figured I'd pass it along.
