Hi Everyone,

I currently have a cell phone and a Sony Clie, with Palm OS. I am interested in consolidating both devices into one. I want to keep the Palm OS and Verizon Wireless so could purchase either the Treo 700p or the Treo 755p. I am not really interested in text messaging, emails or other web applications. Which device would you recommend?

The standard battery life of the 755 is not the best; the 700P gives a bit better battery life, but has a few issues that are not normally present with the 755. Both devices though are excellent convergent devices. I recently went from a 700P to a Centro and have found the Centro an excellent device.

If you are in a Sprint serviced area, the Centro may be worth looking at. Ben

Thanks Ben. I'll look into the Centro. The advertisement on the Palm website makes it look very appealing. TL

It is. My wife has had the red Centro for about 3 months and loves it. I had the 700P and was looking to move to a Windows device, but did not find one that I liked. I looked back at the 755P and the Centro, played a bit and after a short time, became use to the Centro. An excellent device. Make sure you get the card with as much memory as you can afford. Also, the device does so much and handles email, messaging, IM, database, spreadsheet - so many things very well.
