I just got my Treo 755p as a replacement for a smart-phone-that-shall-not-be-named (which lasted two days). Don't want to name names, but it starts with an M and ends with a Q, and I hated every infernal minute of the two days with the thing! :gasp:

Should have gone with the Treo to begin with! I had a Palm Pilot years ago and loved it, so pairing that with an internet device/cell phone seemed great. Very excited about my Treo! I specifically went with the 755p so I could have the Palm platform I like so much.

    I love this thing!!

Deciding what you want ot do with the device is probably the most important thing you can do. The device itself can do so many things.

    Hi:

Welcome to ET...Is that Adirondack as in upstate NY? That would explain your tag line....Rural Mountains....

We spend a wonderful week up there every summer camping outside of Pottersville. Wasn't able last summer but do plan to this year. It is beautiful!!!

However, cell service was pretty spotty. Do you have to stand on your roof and lean towards Lake George?

    Enjoy your time here.....

    Hey Taz,

In the Northern Adirondacks (Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, etc) we're pretty well taken care of by Verizon. There's really only one town and a stretch of I87 where there's no service. Because we're near a decent sized town, ours is excellent/ (We switched to Verizon for that reason - the North Country is Verizon territory.)

I'm sitting playing with the 755p right now. LOVE this thing!

Ahhhh. Lake Placid and Saranac....Beautiful country. We get there for a day trip every year and it still takes my breath away. Love to drive around there.

    Truly God's country.

    Enjoy your toy!

By a stretch, do you mean that small 45 mile stretch between exits 26 and 35? I understand they installed signs warning drivers....After a couple of deaths though! Eventually they will be installing some towers I hear.
