From 300 to 650 to ...Pre

Hello everyone,

I am a software developer and I love working with Palm devices (since my wife's Palm V series). I am currently still using a Treo 650 and not at all interested in Windows Mobile. But, the Pre is starting to create a little excitement in me for an upgrade. I am not the type to trade-in a product every year for small gains, however, I would love to get my hands on the new Palm OS in a device that I can hold on to for a while.

Everyone is waiting, from 4-5 to the latter part of the year. No one knows for sure. In addition, bunches of people are waiting for the SDK to be released and due to it not being available at this time, some companies have expressed concern to the extend they may not venture into its realm.

Well, that means my patience will be put to the test. I might even be inspired to start writing code for handheld devices. It seems like a great opportunity to do some skills development.
