| Happy New Treo 700w Owner Hi all... I am a new Treo 700w owner and after having this device for about 2 weeks now, I must express my satisfaction as a long time user of PDA phones. I started my PDA phone life back in the day with the QPC-6035, and then switched to Nextel. Blackberry was my only choice until the i930 Smartphone was released... what a joke (no bluetooth or wifi and very basic). Switching to Verizon was a very smart move as the service is way superior in this area (NC) and also was able to get a 'real' PDA phone. Starting with the XV6700 and having major issues was a rough start. Then I switched to the Q... wrong move, just a smartphone! Now very happy as I love my Treo 700w! I have a little lag problems sometimes and reset about once a day, just to keep her running well. But overall, very happy! |

| new to forum and 700w my office just gave me a 700w, so I have no choice. I have been a palm OS guy for a long time. I am having trouble finding any 3rd party software, let alone freeware, that is worthwhile. any suggestions? I am most interested in medical software and functionality software. i wish they had given me a 700p!
thanks, josh |

| There's some 700w software available in the ET Store. There are also some freeware apps out there for the 700w. Also, check out http://www.pocketgear.com/ and http://www.freewareppc.com/
Sorry I can't give you any personal suggestions, but I've been on POS for awhile now.

But overall, very happy! | Hello, my story is just about the same; I've had my 700w for about two weeks now, and I traded my Motorola Q for it. The Q is disappointing in many ways, one of which it is very unnatural to speak on. I have no idea why they did not offer Office Mobile on the Q.
Look forward to speaking with all of you! |
