Hello....another "newbie"

Just found this site, both my wife and I have 700P's. So far, so good. the only gripe that I have is that I travel in a lot of "out of service" areas and the phone is constantly searching for service--seems to kill the battery life. Would be great if it would hibernate when it notices that it isn't in service range......other than that, no complaints. Looking to find some new "fun" programs.

You are correct. Constant searching for a signal will kill your battery. Perhaps you could set it to signal you when roaming and you could shut it off?

Take a look at the free program downloads here at ET. Of course there are pay ones available too.....
