 |  Hi everyone I've had my 650 for about a year now and I love it. I joined this forum for all the great info and tips to make my 650 work better. One of the biggest problems that I have is that I got mine from Alltel and when I went out of the country for 7 months some how my plan and service got totally screwed up. So, my biggest question is, is there any way to convert my 650 to another service??? Or do I just have to suck it up and deal with Alltel???? Any help would be appreciated and I look forward to being a part of this forum. Thanks. |

 |  The first question is whether or not your Treo is locked. If so, it will need to be unlocked in order to use it with another carrier. Many GSM Treo owners have been able to contact their provider and get an unlock code, explaining they will travel overseas and want to use the Treo. There are a bunch of unlock codes running around eBay and other places on the net, too. Just google 'em. Here's a page from Palm which may explain better than I can. Welcome to ET!
