Hi my name is Ken and I just purchased a Treo 650 on the Telus network. It took me 2 days but I was able to make a bluetooth connection with my laptop to sink with my Treo. I was able to do it after I found out how on this form......Thanks
Now if I can just figure out how to access the internet from my Treo using Bluetooth and my PC life would be great. I think I just need a browser that supports this but I.m sure I will find out from someone here.

Ken-
Congrats on your new Treo. Ben provided some good tips. I've a lot of good things about PDANet. I'm a mac user, so haven't had the opportunity to trial it.

I really enjoy PDANet...I'm on the Sprint network and have had no problems whatsoever. Welcome to ET!!!
Thanks for the input and the advice on the software. I downloaded the PDAnet. It seems to work backwards to what I want or should I say that I am working backwards. I have a laptop with a wireless network at home and at work. I have a bluetooth dongle for my HP Compaq nc6000. I would like to be able to get on the internet using the bluetooth connection on my laptop and the laptops connection. I don't want to access the net via dialup on my Treo but through my laptop.
Thanks ....... Ken
PDANet is designed to let you connect to the Internet via the Treo. I have a Bluetooth dongle on my laptop and for the 650 it works flawlessly. On my wife's laptop she uses her 650 with the cable. Ben
