 |  New Treo 700P User I completely missed this thread when I first signed up asking or assistance in picking the Motorola Q over the Treo 700P. Needless to say, the Treo won. I live in Putnam Valley, NY with my wife and our two dogs and two cats. When I'm not adjusting to the fact that I no longer have a large screen on my Palm device and that the keyboard can do a lot of the work for me I'm working on or around or relaxing at the house, reading (mostly comic books), watching movies with Renee, or perusing the various forums I seem to be joining based on my hobbies. A couple nights a week I'm cohosting Bullpen Bulletins, a podcast dedicated primarily to Marvel Comics (which makes up the bulk o my reading), with my buddy VinceB. I work at a community college in the IT Department. I'm the evening tech and when I'm not answering the Helpdesk or taking care of student issues, I create applications for the faculty, staff, and students. Due to my love of PDAs (and most gadgets) any time there's a Palm or Windows Mobile service call, I'm the go-to guy. Speaking of my long love affair with the Palm OS, I started with the Pilot 1000 (back before 3Com purchased US Robotics), upgraded to a PalmPilot Professional, then a IIIx, a m515, and finally before the Treo, the T|X. I had the opportunity to play with some Handspring Visors over the years and my father used to use a Visor before he went to the Edge and used that to death. I'm looking forward to hanging out here, and picking up some tips. |
