New Treo 700w Owner with a love-hate relationship

Hello fellow E-Treos,

I've had my Treo 700W for about 1 month now and overall, I rate the device a 9 out of 10 in terms of functionality. I took away half point because I doesn't show flash clips. It lost another half point because it doesn't appear to store ID and password cookies. The list of things I can do with my 700w treo is so long that the pros outweighs the cons by pretty much a 10-1 margin.

In terms of stability, I gave the device a 1 out of 10. It freezes up way too much . I find myself hitting the reset button many times a day. I have to admit that I am a heavy internet radio (who needs satellite radio when you've got a Treo 700w, sorry Sirius) audio-streamer and I have 5 pop email accounts not including my 3 hotmail addresses that I sync with as often as once every hour. I would be such a happy camper if my Treo 700W would stop freezing.

Well I plan to share many of my Treo 700W experiences here (both good and bad) and hope to find solutions to any of the challenges I encounter.

I use ptunes streaming ability often on my 650! No problems with resets and ptunes! But plenty of them to go around in other areas. One problem that I have is with Chatter and my IMAP accounts. As long as I am not doing anything, Chatter works flawlessly. but if I want to chat using IM+, or use PdaNet and my Treo as a modem, I have to first take Chatter off line or its lock up problems til I do! On the other hand, I can stream internet audio with ptunes without having to first shut down chatter . . .

No problems with freeze ups on mine, as it has only the default programs routinely on it. When I do load something on it and try it, I have had problems on one occasion when I had it trying to do too many things. When I cut it back to 3, no problems. Ben
