New treo user. What happened to graffiti?
I just purchased a 700p and was extremely disappointed that Palm did not put any type of handwriting software on it. I was an avid plam user several years ago - the Sony Clie was my last. Have been stuck with pocket pc for the last few years and want to come back to Palm OS.
The top reason for coming back was the ease of text entry w/ the stylus - i'm way too clumsy on the QWERTY. I've searched out a few apps, but i haven't been able to find any good reviews on them. Any ideas on what's the best one?
Thanks

Bunches and bunches of people liked Graffiti and bunches and bunches of people hated Graffiti. I was one of those bunches and bunches of people taht hated Graffiti. With the advent of the keyboard, it was decided that Graffiti was no longer necessary. You can use Graffiti Anywhere - take a look at http://www.escande.org/palm/GrfAnywhere/.

Take a look at the link benjie posted one message above yours. GraffitiAnywhere will work with the 650. I believe it is freeware too!

***Thanks for getting back to me, Steve. The real question is how to (and whether I can) get a program onto my Palm. I'm not connected to the net with it, or phone either. It's just an organizer for me. Is there a way to download to my PC from the net and then to my Palm?

Did you install the Palm Desktop and HotSync on your PC? If so you should have a Quick Install icon on your desktop. Open it and drag the PRC /PDB files to it and you should be able to install via HotSync with a cable connection.
If you run Vista on your PC, take a look here.
I hope this helps...
