Maybe it will stop restarting on me.

Both good applications, especially Butler. What are you wanting to accomplish with the device? Play/work, et cetera - defining that as a starting point lets you get it set up faster without trying everything you run across.

Honolulu - 2,500 miles west of somewhere in the middle of nowhere, the land of Shakes. Kyoceria 6135, Treo 300, 600, 650, 700p, 700w, Centro & 800W, Touch Pro plus 3 other WM phones...

It still restarts on me after i got both Applications and its always freezing up.
Its a Company phone that i just play on and text. Nothing fancy, just aggravating that its slow, freezes up alot, Restarts, and battery life is pathetic..
Thats about it, Thanks!

Hi:
Sorry to hear about the resetting problem. It would appear you were having the trouble before loading the third-party apps, correct? Did you do any trouble shooting to try to identify the problem before adding new software to the mix?
Was the Treo new when the company gave it to you? If not, did you or your IT people do a hard reset or better yet, a zero-out reset before beginning use to be sure nothing was left over from a previous user?
Have you looked around for other owners comments or experiences with the 680 to see iff there are any common issues that might have a solution?
I ask because if you are just starting out with a Treo that has issues I can't imagine it is going to get better by itself and it may make your experience annoying and tedious instead of satisfying and helpful. You might want to think about finding some solutions that will make your journey more rewarding.
I wish my company would give me a Treo to play on and text. I must admit, I am a bit jealous!!!

Ok, Sorry i meant to put its a Company SIM card.. i bought the Treo off Ebay, it was 2 weeks old and the person wanted the iPhone. So i got a pretty good deal on it.
Yes i was told that Butler or Tech would help the sluggishness and freezing. Guess not? I have no idea how to troubleshoot the problem.
No i didnt know about the Hard reset or Zero-out reset. I just put my SIM in and started playing with it.
I was also told that if i took the phone to Cingular or AT&T that they would replace it for free since this is a big issue. Just tell them it restarts all the time and freezes up.
Pleas instruct me on what i should do.
Thanks!
