Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Pete and I am currently in deployed in Iraq, but work out of Ft. Bragg, NC. I was looking on the internet for a new phone when I got back and discovered the 700p. I've had Sprint service forever and useally surf the internet on my small phone, which is really SLOW, so when I read you could get broadband like service (in certian areas) on the 700p I was hooked. I just hope someone figures out how to get the Wi-Fi card to work on it!....

Anyhow, I will probably lurk for a while and ask questions later once I get the 700p.

First off, thank you!! I have tremondous gratitude and appreciation for everyone who serves our country. My brother in law is in the Air Force and was stationed in Goldsboro, NC -- I think it was Seymour Johnson air base. He's in Oklahoma now for training and spent some time in Quatar.


When you get back (and I hope it's soon), the 700p is a great choice. Sprint's EvDO is much cheaper than Verizon and it's great. Just be sure to check that you have EvDO coverage in your area.
