Hello all, my name is Ray and I recently joined the board, and have just ordered my Treo 700wx. I am glad to see a forum ( I have been surfing this board for about a week or so, gathering info on the treo handsets) with a lot of great info and members who are willing to help others understanding and getting the most out of their smartphone....:laugh3:

funny you say that, it arrived Monday 12/11 to my surprise as i was expectingto receive it by the end of the week. I call to swap out phones and when the order was processed, the esn of the 700wx that was shipped to me was accidently assigned to another account. After a 30 minute phone call, they are sending me another phone along with a kit to return the phone that sits ever so nicely on my dresser ....lol.. So i am hoping that it is there when i arrive home today....:laugh3:

Wow. That's the kind of absurd only a wireless provider could muster. You'd think that in less time they could just reassign to you the one you already have. This must be killing you. As Smokey Robinson said, "A taste of love is worse than none at all."

I thought the same thing , but they stated that it would be "easier and quicker" to send a new phone..Well low and behold, no phone today, however..The 1gb expansion card and screen protector arrived today...I am now just waiting on my case and PHONE....LOL....lets ee what tomorrow brings...

UPDATE*****Received a box from Sprint on Friday 12/15/06, excited to finally get my phone , I open the box and low and behold their is a TREO 700p staring me in the face..

I called Sprint and in a very professional manner told the representative that the service was unacceptable. I now have 2 phones in my house with " the correct phone being sent out monday for tues delivery".. so we will see what arrives tomorrow if anything..... Wish me luck, so i now have a 1GB expansion card, screen protector and my palm leather case... They all look nice in their packaging.....lol

well i came home to new Treo Wx yesterday , phone is now activated and I have to say that I am initially happy with the phone. Ive hadnt had much time to real get a feel for the phone or add my phone book( which is going suck..)

ahhhh I see we are in the same club then.. I think i added about 75 or so last night, still have about 200 or so to go.....
