Default teathering sprint centro?

newbe here. just wondering. I have been with sprint now for about 6 years. I've had a centro for 2 years. when i first got the centro sprint offered a download to "teather" the phone to my laptop to use as a modem, and it didn't cost me anything extra. well since that time, my laptop was stolen and my phone has been replaced, and sprint no longer offers the software anymore. please help, can anyone help me with a download out there that will not ruin my phone, will work reliably and not cost me more than a $20 one time fee? also, what do i need to know about sprint? I'm on the all data plan with 1500 minutes of talk time. is sprint going to charge me extra for tethering my phone now? your help is very much appreciated, thank you in advance.

PDANet and keep it under 5GB per cycle. USBModem is also an option.

Couple things... Sprint does indeed still offer the software. Go to http://xrl.in/21ic and select your phone, if you have the centro its there on the first page after you click the smart phone link.

Download the Connection manager for phone as modem.

If you want to be more stealthy about it, you can use PDANet or USBModem. I've been using USBModem for years and I love it. Even though all my smart phones are flagged for phone as modem on my plan, I use the USBModem software anyway. Works like a champ.
