Treo 700wx user pining for Pre.

Hi!

Admittedly the latest promotion of a free Pre enticed me to come to the forum. I'm not big on taking witty pictures, hopefully that is not they only kind of quality post one can make.

I have been a fan of Palm since I got my Treo 700wx. I've been wanting to upgrade to a new phone, but I'm tired of WinMo. I also don't want a BB. Originally I was waiting for an Android phone, but WebOS seems like it'd be miles better than an Android phone. Not to mention that Sprint seems to have no plans to carry an Android phone for a while.

I was impressed by what I saw the G whatever it is called do. The WebOS thing is interesting; however, having been a victim of ID theft in the past, I am exceedingly leery of relying upon the Internet for much of anything. My home network is heavy in security. I rarely use the Internet on my Touch Pro and frankly, it takes little to no work to intercept data - though the chances are not too great as we breathe.

My concern though lies in the apparent lack of developer action. One application I use extensively may never get to the Pre due to lack of an SDK - asked for but not released. Since the application I use is one that I depend upon in a business environment, the Pre just does not come in to play for me. Same at this time with the G thing whatever it is.

Honestly i dont like iphone, i has using Nokia, Sony ericsson, an Motorola, but í am a palm fan, i had the Tungsten, Treo 650 and I´m using Palm Centro, but i need wifi, thats why I´m here, looking for that beauty, the new Palm Pre. Alehluya!

Don't worry, there are lots of ways to win a phone. Make 10 good posts anywhere in the forum, take a guess on the relase date and post that here , and you can also follow @everythingpre on twitter . Those are all additional ways to be entered to win a free pre, without having to be too creative. I am, however, patiently awaiting some competition in the YOUTUBE contest!!!
