Treo repair

Hello all. I am in need of advice on how to repair a treo 650's. My job has giving me the task of trying to fix all broken PDAs, mostly made up of the Treo 650. Problems vary from smashed screens to sticking keyboards to dead units. Any recommended books, websites, online classes? Thanks.

First, be aware that the fluid from LCD panels is highly toxic, and you could have severe reactions to it. That being said, you may be able to find some useful video clips on YouTube.com The quality may not be there, but the nuts & bolts might get you what you need.

Thanks. Both were very helpful. However, I could not find anything on how to test the motherboard or processor. Any info? Thanks.

Any suggestions on places to send a Treo 650 for repair? My 650 was dropped and now the keyboard only works while I am in sync mode or connected to my computer!

I was just over at pdaparts.com surfing around. They offer a repair service. They also offer a Diagnostic work order. You tell them what is wrong (dropped it and keyboard only works in sync mode) and they tell you what you need to do to fix it.
