Rating or Review New Crimson Treo 680 For Sale

Won a silent auction today at son's elementary school. Got a Brand New Crimson (hot red) Treo 680. Auction said that it would run on any network. Was not true - it is a GSM (ATT/cingular) only phone. Have Sprint CDMA and am really a little tick about the phone not working on CDMA.

My winning bid was $330 and I will sale it for $300.

I did open the box to see the sweet new hot red phone. Dang it is hot looking! Now after I sell this I am going to have to go get a different Treo model that will work on Sprint CDMA.

    Please contact me if interested.

    Hi Orprepus,

Congratulations on winning the auction. I hope it was success for the school. I wanted to share with you (with no teasing intended) that this very phone is selling on AT&T's website for $79.99 as a refurb and $149.99 new with two-year contract. I pasted the link below. Good Luck. Target

    Default Not tied to ATT

This phone is unlocked and not tied to any network. However, that said ATT is the main GSM network in the US. I guess there are some others like Alltel. It does not work with Verizon or Sprint or T- mobile. Yes I know you can get a deal - just trying to hopefully find someone that already has a contract and would like to get a TREO 680.

    Thanks

    Hey Orprepus,

I missed the UNLOCKED part. That is huge. That is a steal for an UNLOCKED Treo. I am coming to the end of my contract. If my 650 wasn't working as if it were new, I'd buy just so I would not have to enter into a contract.

    Good Luck,

Hey I have a CDMA 650 (box, all materials that came with it) that is in very nice shape that should work on Sprint as they are both CDMA (I would confirm this first though) if you still have the 680 and would care to negotiate a trade?
