      I am sorry for not seeing this earlier! Normally when this happens and the device is set up to work on the network, a hard reset is needed, which means backing up the device before executing the hard reset and then selectively restoring your applications. If you restore the device to its "previous" condition, you take the chance of bringing the problem back.
