800p is all Rumour?

I was just searching around and found a post from another site (written in red) disclosing that a rumor of an 800p in March is all fake.

Anyone have a true rumor? Or is it just wishful thinking?

The only rumor that seems plausible is a Treo 700p being released from Sprint in a month or two. Then some Treo 700 version showing up for GSM providers and International providers.

It was one of the greatest jokes ever pulled on Treocentral by some guy named Slinky. He put out a ridiculous post about some rumor for the 800p and the idiots there ate it up. THeir moderator gfunkmagic is a moron and banned him for life because he was made such a fool. It's a sign that say a few silly words and they can travel the globe with people paraphrasing what they want from an absurd original story. It's the telephone game played out in real life. Hilarious. Kudos to Slinky, wherever you are.

The old telephone game...well it has a twist doesn't it. I am eager to see the 700p (or whatever they may call it) but with a few glitches in a new model. I can wait for a while. I am sure that the price will be high in the beginning. Tha neo.

Nobody knows about this model although supposedly there is a page in Sprint's directory for the 700p which means a launch by no later than end of May. Who knows... maybe the guy really did think it was a p but it was a w. But the report is that it definitely was a 700p as in Palm.
