Best Treo for medicine??

Hi. My sister is studying medicine and is in the market for a smartphone. I was told that Treo was a great option.

I know absolutly nothing about smart phones or PDA´s.

Is treo the best choice...and if so...wich one is the best we can buy??

Im also interested in the compatibility with the most software programs about medicine.

What can anyone recomend? Or maybe a different brand?

Any doctors or med students that can guide and advise me with this issue??

The software is there for both Palm OS and Windows devices, so really it is a matter of personal preference.
