Managers at Cingular kiosks and stores have told me that there's 'something better' than the 680 coming out - today, I heard "within two months". On other forums, I've heard that there will definitely be a 750 Windows version from Cingular. Does anyone have positive info on a Cingular 750p?

Thanks.
I haven't personally heard of a 750p . . . But I do know that ALP (Access Linux Palm, the new company building the next Palm OS) demoed the new version in November to several in the industry showing them what all it would do. Its supposed to be backward compatable with OS5 and most there were pretty impressed according to the articles I read on the net (you might want to google ALP)
Here are some screenshots of it running on a phone made in China . .

Well we know they had or maybe still are having difficulty with the 750W stack for Cingular and they appear to have had QC problems with the release on the 680 for cingular, so they may be having probelms with a regular 750 palm os build.
