This is a discussion on Clam Shell Palm phone? within the Treo Smartphones forums; I am looking to replace my Kyocera 7135. Anyone know of a new palm based clamshell phone? Thanks...

Not that I'm aware of... I think a Treo would be your best option to replace the Kyocera.

Just a note - I had a Kyocera 7135 and then the Treo 300 and was so glad to get away from the clam shell design.

My first Palm phone was the Samsung SPHI500 which was a clamshell. From there I went to the Treo 700p and now I have the Centro. I still miss the clamshell.:frown:

I do not miss the flip nor breaking the flip nor slamming the flip, et cetera. Ben

I'd have to agree with that! Nothing more satisfying than hearing that reassuring CLAP (on the kyocera 7135 its more of a snap, but oh well)!

yes, more than a snap it was. A deaf person standing next to me could hear mine if I closed it in a hurry. Ben
