    Default Cleaning up the Centro

I've been testing a few different programs on my new Centro and found that I didn't like how they worked I'm looking for a good launcher program that will allow me to change the background to one of the pictures in my photo album.

Anyway, I went to the "Delete" option to remove the program, but not sure if it was all removed. Is there a program that I can run on my Centro (Palm OS) that will remove any files not used by any programs currently installed? I know I have FileZ and Files on my centro, but that will allow me to remove the files myself. I'm not sure what files I would need to remove and what are needed for the programs I do have.

Short answer: not unless you have an uninstaller program. But if you know the creator ID for the apps you uninstalled, you can use Filez to find files with the same creator ID, and delete them that way.

there is a built in app deleter brought up by code dialing. on sprint you dial ##37789# this shows a list of all additional apps installed. does a pretty good job of deleting the program and any db's associated..

The default application manager discussed above does not necessarily delete all of the information from an application - the reason is that some developers use different Creator IDs in an application and some files are just not associated. An application such as Uninstall Manager (www.northglide.com) actually monitor the installation and as a result, deletions are normally complete.

DeStaller Lite works ok, just does not have the horse power that Uninstall Manager has.
