Hot Sync Message won't go away! - Treo Forums

I recently got this phone from my girlfriend, because no matter what you do it goes to a screen that says it's "Connecting with the Desktop using Cradle?Cable."

When you push the cancel button it flashes to another screen for a second and then goes back to the same "Connecting..." message. It's super frustrating and I don't know how to fix it. If anyone could give me some help it would be much appreciated.

I already tried plugging it into the charger, connecting it to the computer and taking out the battery and reseting it.

Is there something obvious I'm missing?

Hi:

Perhaps you should uninstall the Desktop/Sync software and reinstall?

Do you have the original disc?

I don't think I have the original software, but I got past the problem thanks for the reply anyway.

Please post your solution, I am very interested in how you fixed your phone. My 650 has been doing that very same thing since it got sprayed with water and I haven't been able to figure it out.
