    Hi:

I think you should check their site and visit a store to see what they offer. If you are currently with Sprint, that is CDMA. A quick scan of their site looks like Cincinnati Bell is GSM, a different technology. It also appears they only offer one Treo, the 680, which is a Palm OS.

First and foremost, you should be shopping for the quality of signal and service. The phone and plan pricing should be secondary. You can have the coolest phone and best plan, but if you can't use it because the signal is poor that isn't much of a benefit.

Why do you think you want to change to the Bell company or why do you want to leave Sprint?

Not familiar with Cincinnati Bell. Are they affiliated with AT&T? If so, you could be in line for the Treo 850.

I travel a lot to mexico and international and Sprint does not have text message international, and they have a very high roaming rate. Also i work for a company in Cincinnati that uses Cincinnati Bell. We get a discount, and they have international text. We also have free cincinnati bell to cincinnati bell calls.

    Hi:

Sure looks like you are making the move for the right reasons. I love discounts too!

The other thing to look for is if Cincinnati Bell will allow or sell an unlocked phone. If so, you will be able to pop in a prepaid SIM from Mexico (probably TelCel, right?) rather than pay roaming charges. You have to weigh the increased cost of an unlocked phone though. Probably won't give you data service though.

I do love Cabo and spend two weeks there every year.

Let us know how it goes....
