Let's be clear -- with all the data I have in my 680, a newer high-end Palm is the way I'd prefer to go. This isn't just contacts and emails, but entire databases of information in applications that would be difficult, if not outright impossible, to transfer to another PDA. I'm sure I'm not the only one facing the truly nightmarish prospect of having to re-enter all that data, by hand, into a different line of device.

So yes, I'd still prefer Palm, er, hands down. I'm just hoping they still prefer to have me as a customer in the same way.
