I think you might have posted this earlier in the thread, but Engadget had mentioned this, "Sprint will be getting an exclusive on the new Palm-powered Treo 700p. Of course, they don’t reveal anything we’d really like to know, like which version of the Palm OS the 700p will be running and whether it’ll have EV-DO, WiFi, a better camera, etc, but we’ll live."

Well, if we know Palm any, they wont do EVDO in one and not the other, that would kill Sprint and Sprint wont have that. So it will at least have that, possibly a better camera, and I would gather 64MB of RAM (55MB usable). But that is just a guess on my part, no NDA for me just yet so I can keep guessing away.

Just a hunch...

Will the Treo 650 work with and sync with Act Contact Management Software? Thanks

mp3 for treo 700
What is important to me in a phone is a good camera and mp3 player.
the 650s camera is not good the 700 looks like it will be much improved
there is nothing in the news thats been out about whether or not it will have an mp3 player,
Does anyone know?

Honestly speaking, if you want good MP3 players, the best are standalone MP3 players. Devices such as phones that play MP3s are not made to replace your MP3 player, though done right they can. Same with the camera issue.
The 700w will have Windows Media player, so it will be able to play with no issue. If there is a 700p, expect POcket Tunes as RealPlayer was thankfully demoted

I'm in real estate and I believe that palm is more common in the industry, but I'm still doing some research.
Since you are in the real estate industry, then I think one of your primary concerns is the compatibility of Supra with the Windows software. http://www.geindustrial.com/ge-inter...teDefault.html
I am a mortgage consultant and unless I miss my guess, there has not been an announcement from the makers of Supra on what they are going to do to support WM5 or if they are going to support WM5...heck, other than a few mortgage calculators and terminology programs, there are very few 3rd party offerings for the real estate industry right now in WM5. Once more devices hit the marketplace, then you will see more apps.

I'm a Realtor and found this in an old newletter email (October 2005) from Supra.
Windows Mobile eKEY: We are currently developing eKEY software compatible with the Windows Mobile 2005 operating system for handheld devices. This eKEY solution is scheduled to be released in early 2006 and will give agents more options than ever before
Experience the magic of the Supra iBox system and visit us at booth 1105 at the National Association of REALTORS® Conference and Expo this month in San Francisco!
GE Security will demonstrate the Supra iBox, along with a number of compatible devices including the new PPC 6700 Sprint phone that operates on the Windows OS. Also learn about ShowingValue, a new enhancement to the KIM website that allows agents to receive e-mail notifications, send e-mails to showing agents, and view showing activity and eFeedback.
I hope this will be ready by the time the Treo 700w comes out.

so for the 700w through Verizon w/ 2year deal.......about $499? anyone got a ballpark?
-
some have stated that the 700w version will be exclusive to Verizon until June of 2006. Where was this info obtained. I am with Sprint and i am holding off on buying a 650 right now because there is no official word on when the 700w will hit Sprint. IF it wont be till the summer i will get a 650 now and a 700 then.
