    Default Treo 800

My business Cingular Rep keeps telling me the Windows UMTS/HSDPA based Treo is the Treo 800. Has anyone heard this? I'm told it will be out later this month.

I haven't heard anything regarding a Treo 800. Palm stated there would be 4 new smartphones this year and we've reached that with the Treo 680.

    To recap:
    Treo 700w
    Treo 700p
    Treo 750v
    Treo 680

I wouldn't be surprised to see the 750, but I think January is more like it.

My understanding is that the Cingular phone is the 750V. I have been told that there should be a 800W sometime in 2007 for CDMA with Rev A

Does the treo 700w/wx have rev A?

I know the Treo 700p does.

This is the third time today I have read about a Rev. A Treo coming out next year (although the other two referred to it as a 755). :laugh3: Needless to say, I am stoked for this to be true.

Do you have any proof you could dig up, please?

yes sprint and verizon alreay have reverse A. So don't worry.

Just a little upgrade in data speed (i think, if I remember right?) I could be wrong.

But I do know the treo 700p sprint and verizon support it cause you can look in your phone info or enter this into the keypad:#*#786# it shows more phone info.

My Cousin works for PALM (Marketing) and he told me yesturday that sprint is getting the new 755 first.. He told me in his own words that IT WILL FEATURE WINDOW MOBILE 6 AND IT WILL BE A REV A PHONE. He did tell me that the Treo 755 with WM6 will not come out until the 750 from cingular comes out with WM6 first.. (Guess Cingular worked out a drug deal with palm) I didnt ask him if there is going to be a palm os version( I couldnt really care less) but being a longtime treo owner I'm sure there will be..Thats all he could tell me.. I'm trying to seduce him with a case of beer to get more information.. Ill keep you all posted

    Default 755 Black or Grey

[quote=spdermn10;43536]My Cousin works for PALM (Marketing)

So please tell your cousin to tell Palm that this graphic designer wants a 755 but it MUST be grey or black. I read that the 755 will be blue or red. Not acceptable. Sprint is always greyscale in their products, they said, so I had hope. Any leaks from marketing?
