Vert Line in Pics

Last week my Treo 600 needed to be 'put down' so I purchased a 700W as replacement. So far I'm impressed with the new Treo and have not had the probs some have posted before.

The only item I have found wrong with this Treo is a vertical line running top to bottom on all pics taken. I have looked at the camera lens and there are not marks or scratches so I'm guessing the line is software or hardware induced. Has anyone else experience this vertical line on pics and if so, are there work-arounds other than returning to the store?
