Smile What to buy...a Treo 680 or a Treo 750??

Hello to all,
I am a new member to Everything Treo...nice to meet everyone.

My question is...I am trying to decide on whether to purchase a Treo 680 or a Treo 750. I am a Realtor and have heard that the Treo 680 is better for my business because of the Palm OS rather than the Windows in the 750, as far as for the ekey capabiltites. Ekey is software that allows Realtors to access houses through their phones rather than having a lockbox key. Any suggestions out there....HELP!!!

Hi, a quick note - cross posting is not necessary. Pick your area and go from there. Now in this instance, the Windows and Palm OS areas are fine, but there really is no need for four.

Also to answer your question, it really is a matter of personal preference. If you like a "Windows" interface, the 750. I have tried a few Windows phones and prefer the Palm OS. Depends on what meets your needs.

I started on the Palm OS with a Kyocera PDA a few years ago. I have tried Windows and just a couple of weeks ago spent bunches of hours with a Mogul trying to get to like it.

People say the Palm OS is crap, not able to do things, et cetera. Well, the Palm OS is able to do everything the Windows OS does with the exception of multi-tasking. Both systems have their pro's and con's. The Palm OS is definitely easier to get around. I had a Treo 700W for a while and never did get comfy with the OS. The learning curve is different. I frankly did not want to take the time to play with it, as the Palm OS is a "sit down and work with" device from the start. Too many steps to close an application and nothing in the Windows world matches ChatterEmail, TakePhone, 2Day and other applications.

So really, when it comes down to it, they both...

I am also new to the Treo (and all PDA's). I have also been considering both of these two phones.
I understand that the OS's are different, but will that matter much to a new user?

Are there many 'real' advantages to the 750?

For the people that have used both systems, which do you feel is better? Which is easier to use?

Are there any major pro's and con's to either device?

And last but not least, which device would you get... the 680 or 750??

Thanks a million!

Nicholas
